Founding Software Engineer

We are building the first automated stone factory. Every block of marble, limestone, and travertine that comes through our workshop is shaped by robots following software we write ourselves. That software stack is still young — there is a lot to build.

You will be one of the first engineers on the team. You will own entire parts of the pipeline: CAD ingest, toolpath planning, robot motion, quality control, and the customer-facing portal that stitches it all together.

What you'll do

• Design and build the core systems that turn 3D models into executable robot programs
• Work directly with founders and the workshop team to turn messy real-world problems into shippable software
• Own entire features end-to-end, from Postgres schema to UI polish
• Set technical direction for the rest of the engineering team as we grow

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of production experience with a strong typed language (TypeScript, Go, Rust, or Python with types)
• Comfort moving between frontend, backend, and occasional hardware integration
• You have shipped something you are proud of and can explain every layer of how it works
• Interest in robotics, CAD, computational geometry, or stone architecture is a strong plus
